Pincushion Ring: A handmade gift from my colleague

Handmade presents are in my opinion the best presents. They are presents which are made with love and there are so unique, that you can be sure you will not find them in any store.
This pincushion is a gift from my colleague. I can’t tell, how happy I was about this gift. This is a really cute idea and so helpful for when I work on my sewing machine.

          
I asked my colleague Rica, how she did it and here are the instructions:

You need:
1 SMALL HAIR RUBBER  BAND
1 BUTTON
ONE COTTON BALL
A SMALL PIECE OF FABRIC

1.step: sew the button on the hair rubber band
2. step: fill a piece of fabric with a little bit of the cotton ball (depending on how big you want to make it) and close it with a needle and a thread to a small ball
3. step: at last sew this ball on the button, make also two stitches in the middle of the ball.
Finished!
